Mrs. Nielsen's Bio

Mrs. Laura Nielsen is a Learning Support Teacher at North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary.  She taught at Susquehannock High School for one year. She was then hired by Lincoln Intermediate Unit and taught at North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary for 2 years before Red Lion Area School District took over the class and Mrs. Nielsen became a Red Lion Area School District Special Education Teacher.

 

Mrs. Nielsen graduated from Kennard-Dale High School and Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. She then earned a Master of Science Degree in Special Education and a second Master of Science Degree in Elementary Education, both from Millersville University.

 

Mrs. Nielsen is married and has 2 sons, ages 22 and 19. Her sons keep her very busy. She enjoys watching their sports and music activities.
