Here is a little bit about her educational background and teaching experiences. She graduated from Millersville University in 2009 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She began her teaching career as a long-term substitute in fifth grade at Larry J. Macaluso Elementary in 2009. In 2010, she was then offered a job at North Hopewell Winterstown Elementary teaching fifth grade. This year will be her tenth year teaching at North Hopewell Winterstown. After school, she is in charge of the Student Leadership Council. She enjoys working with students to help make a difference at NHW. In 2014, she earned her Master's Degree from Pennsylvania State University in Teaching in Curriculum. In 2017, she began taking classes through Wilkes University to continue her education. She believes that education is important and plans to continue learning about how to improve her teaching.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her son, family, and friends. Also, she enjoys going shopping, reading, being crafty, and baking. Her favorite place to visit is the beach. Her husband and she have a Yellow Lab named Tucker, who enjoys playing fetch and going for walks.
Mrs. Dawson is looking forward to becoming a partner with you in your child's education.
