Dr. Strickler earned bachelor's degrees from Shippensburg University in English and from York College of Pennsylvania in elementary education. She also earned a master's degree in educational administration from Temple University and a doctorate degree in educational leadership from Immaculata University. Dr. Strickler began her career in education at Red Lion Area High School as an English teacher and has been a third grade teacher at North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary School since 2003. At NHW, she is also an Envirothon coach. In her spare time, Dr. Strickler enjoys spending time with her family, working in her garden, and taking her German Shepherd, Cooper, for long walks.
